It was a cool, damp day, but it never really rained, just a few spits. It was not yet peak fall colors, and the dreary day did not bring out much color in the trees that were changing. Five cars and nine people participated. We had an excellent lunch at the “Not Justa Café” and then went to the Heritage Center, where we were surprised at how extensive the Center was. We received a tour with Bev, the executive director of the center, as our guide. It was a nice laid-back tour, a fun afternoon, and only about 70 miles round trip.
